The film is like a museum tour that captures the importance of preserving traditions. Gelnica, once a royal mining town, now has all the mines flooded. However, this does not prevent Jan Šalig from wearing a mining uniform every day and pretending in the restored tunnel that it is still possible to be a miner. The inhabitants of the city do not seem to want to admit that the mines have closed and are still accepting new members into the mining association. In the film against the background of the mining festival - Shakhtag, we follow the protagonists, who each try to restore Gelnica's fame in their own way. The question is, does it make all the point?
